COPING WITH LIFE CHALLENGES BEYOND RETIRING

Coping with Life Challenges

Spread the love

You might ask yourself the following questions: Where do I put this pain? Where do I put these ol‘ memories? What do I do when nothing seems to matter?  Who do I turn to for comfort when I am hurting – physically , emotionally, and spiritually? What can I do when words don’t seem to matter; even scripture sometimes sound hollow?

Have you ever been down so low that nothing seems to matter, and nobody can help lift you up? Because they have their own problems, spouses, friends, children, or others, even the pastor. What do you do? Where can I put this misery? How can I conquer this fear?

All of us, have asked ourselves at least some of these questions. Oftentimes we ask God; WHY? This past February one of our dear friends went to be with the Lord, We believe this because of the type of life she lived. We  asked God WHY, but we were reminded of Job questioning God:  Refer to the Book of Job – Job 7:11-21. These are the times we must lean on Him, if we are to find peace of mind.

I share the following Bible Scripture with you: The Lord says in Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

GOD IS THE ANSWER – BE BLESSED !!!
